We have not done a good job at all with keeping up on our blog. Not sure if because of the lack of time or where it lies on the list of things to do in terms of priority. There is a post still sitting in the 'draft' folder from Valentine's Day that just needs pics added.
We can promise there will be a 'Q1 wrap up' which will highlight the ups and downs of Q1 2010...and with a two year old there are plenty of those (both ups and downs).
Stay Tuned......

January wrap up...
So here we are already at the end of January and we have failed miserably at this whole blog thing...I don't even think we have updated the shutterfly photo site. KC has spent most of January fighting some sort of 'crud' (as her doctor puts it), John has been able to hit the slopes a few times and well, Nicholas, where do we even start with him? He is busy, busy, busy! We frequently find ourselves telling people 'the terrible two's can go right back from where they came'! Nicholas is in the throws of the 'terrible two's', but is also ALL boy on top of it. Aside from the random, for no reason tantrums, Nicholas is a complete joy and amazes us daily.
January 12th marked the one year anniversary of KC's dad death. We miss him more than words could ever express, but take comfort in knowing he is in a far better place.
January has also brought a lot of rain to California so our outdoor weekend activities have been very limited. We have managed to get out and take advantage of the rare sun, shiny days. We took Nicholas to Fairy Tale Town for his first visit. Fairy Tale Town has been around forever! It's a little theme park all about the fairy tales we as children grew up knowing...Humpty Dumpty, Jack and the Bean Stalk, Cinderella, Robin Hood, etc...I think you get the picture. No crazy rides, just a ton of activities for children, including some farm animals (which were a big hit with Nicholas). We also took Nicholas to the snow for the first time. To say he loved it is a total understatement. We started off on a couple small hills, but Nicholas wanted to go down the 'big one'. So off we went to rent our tubes. It was a blast. Nicholas was happier the faster we would go. His favorite was to be spun before being launched down the hill (see video).
Nicholas has been quite the social butterfly too (he tries to keep up with his mommy). We helped his little girlfriend, Brooke, turn two, had a playdate with his buddy Landon, and visits from his cousin Emerson and cousins Ben and Morgan.
As for John and KC...well, KC is officially out of retirement when it comes to snowboarding. We enjoyed a day of riding while KC's mom and cousin watch Nicholas. The day was good, but cold. John has managed to hit the slopes quite a few times this month which is awesome and so deserved. Just this past weekend, he met up with a buddy from VA in Tahoe and they were able to ride together for two days. A much needed guys weekend.
And what would January be without some kind of Reel/Bobrowski/Taylor/Hansen get together? Our family get togethers are always a ton of fun (for the adults and kids alike). We are so fortunate and blessed to have to so many family members nearby!
January is in the books and February is here! There is no slowing down in sight for the Bobrowski family. Nicholas starts his music and phonics classes at school, KC continues to train for her half marathon in March, play soccer and starts her work travels and John keeps the family in line. Up next, the Super Bowl. GO COLTS!!!

2010 - A New Year!
Happy New Year to everyone! We've decided in 2010 to start a blog to keep friends and family up to date on what's happening here in California. We will keep our photo site of Nicholas for majority of pictures and video, but will use this medium for life updates. We'll see how it goes (we've had a hard enough time keeping up with photos) since are newbies to the blogging world.
We hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a fabulous New Year. May 2010 be a prosperous, blessed and healthy year for all.
